The original Yankee stadium opened on April 18, 1923, with Babe Ruth hitting the first home run in the new stadium that eventually became known as, "The House That Ruth Built." This year marks the 100th Anniversary of the opening of the original Yankee Stadium.
To commemorate this anniversary, ChampionshipArt's founder and lead artist, James G. Ferrara, has updated and released the much loved New York Yankees Championships poster. Originally commissioned by the Yogi Berra Museum in 2009 as a full-sized mural (still on display), this much loved design now includes the scores, dates, opponents, managers, and winning and losing pitchers from every World Series game played during the New York Yankees 27 Championship seasons, as well as the names and numbers of all those who have been honored by having their numbers retired.
The first printing sold out shortly after its original release, so don't wait to get your commemorative New York Yankees Championships poster.
