On Sept. 3, 1966 18-year-old Bobby Orr signed a two-year contract with the Boston Bruins. Bobby Orr made his NHL regular-season debut on October 19, 1966, getting one assist against the Red Wings. On October 22, he scored his first NHL goal against the Canadiens.
