During his 10-year MLB career, Jackie Robinson won the Rookie of the Year Award in 1947, was a 6-Time All-Star from 1949 through 1954, won the National League (NL) Most Valuable Player Award in 1949, and was a World Series Champion in 1955. In 1997, MLB retired his uniform No. 42 across all major league teams.
