Reggie White - Green Bay Packers
Reggie White - Green Bay Packers
In 1993, Reggie White entered free agency and secured a four-year contract with the Green Bay Packers. Over the next six seasons with the team, White proved instrumental, contributing 68.5 sacks to establish himself as the Packers' all-time leader in that category at that time.
White's leadership played a pivotal role in the Packers' triumph in Super Bowl XXXI, culminating in a game-ending sack. Notably, he set a Super Bowl record with three sacks in a single game. Recognizing his outstanding defensive prowess, White was honored as the NFL Defensive Player of the Year for the second time in 1998.
