The first AFL-NFL World Championship Game was played on January 15, 1967, at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, California. The National Football League (NFL) champion Green Bay Packers defeated the American Football League (AFL) champion Kansas City Chiefs by the score of 35–10.
The second AFL-NFL World Championship Game was played on January 14, 1968, at the Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida. The National Football League (NFL) champion Green Bay Packers defeated the American Football League (AFL) champion Oakland Raiders by the score of 33–14.
Under Lombardi The Packers won 5 NFL titles and the first 2 Super Bowls in the span of 7 years. The Packers won three NFL Championships in a row; they are the only team in the history of the NFL to achieve that impressive feat. They did it twice, 1929-1931 and 1965-1967.
